YARROW SYRUP

_ collect yarrow flowers [cut off as much of the green as possible - it can make the syrup bitter]
_ fill flowers into a glass.
_ depending on the amount of flowers, estimate the amount of water [flowers should just be covered with water]
_ heat water and dissolve sugar in it 1:1 [e.g. to 100 ml water : 100 g sugar]
_ pour sugar water over flowers and cover glass with cloth
_ let steep at room temperature [not in direct sunlight] for 2-3 days [stir or shake regularly]
_ drain syrup through a fine sieve and remove blossoms
_ boil syrup again briefly and pour into sterile jars
