PUMPKIN ORANGE CHOCOLATE CAKE
110 ml             buttermilk
200 g               pumpkin puree
                          vanilla
1                       orange [peel]
½                      orange [juice]
170 g               butter
200 g               brown sugar
3                       eggs
1                       egg yolk
180 g               flour
75 g                 cocoa powder
2 teaspoons  baking powder
[all ingredients at room temperature]
200 g                powdered sugar
                          orange juice 
                          orange food coloring [optional]
_ preheat oven to 180°C
_ mix buttermilk, pumpkin puree, vanilla, orange juice and orange zest
_ beat butter with sugar until fluffy [min. 5 minutes]
_ add one egg at a time and combine well
_ mix flour, cocoa powder and backing powder and stir into the dough alternately with the pumpkin mixture
_ butter a baking pan and sprinkle with flour
_ spoon batter into the baking dish and bake for about 40 minutes 
   [test if a toothpick comes out clean]
_ let cool slightly and turn out the cake
_ put powdered sugar in a bowl and stir in orange juice by the spoonful until you have a thick cake glaze
_ optionally use food coloring to make the orange color more vibrant
_ pour the icing over the cooled cake

1                    Eigelb
180 g            Mehl
75 g              Kakaopulver
2 Teelöffel Backpulver
[alle Zutaten auf Raumtemperatur]
200 g            Puderzucker
                      Orangensaft
