SHORTCRUST BISCUITS

Feeling in the mood for christmas? I am always in the mood for christmas. My family is scattered across the globe, but for christmas we usually all come together. We take over our parents house and drive them crazy for a whole week before flying of again. And even if my mum disagrees – there can never be too many cookies. 

SHORTCRUST BISCUITS

  • 140g butter
  • 140g sugar
  • 1egg
  • 270g flour
  • pinch salt

_ cream butter and sugar together

_ add egg

_ when mixture is smooth, knead in flour and salt

_ place in the fridge for 30 min [to firm up]fox_biscuits3

_ roll dough 3-4mm thick [if the dough is still to liquid add flour]

_ cut into desired shapesfox_biscuits4

_ preheat oven to 180°C

_ bake biscuits until lightly golden on the edges [keep them pretty light]

_ let cool

_ place two biscuits together with your favorite jamfox_biscuits2
