Super yummy home made ice tea. Best made with fresh ingredients just picked in the garden or bought at the farmers market. If you can’t get your hands on fresh raspberries go for frozen ones. But stay away from store bought raspberry juices – just doesn’t really work.

  • 3 cups water
  • 2.5 teaspoons earl grey tea
  • 3 cups water
  • 0.5 cup brown sugar
  • 500g raspberries [1.5 cups raspberry juice]
  • limes [juice]
  • mint leaves
  • ice to serve

fox_raspberry_icetea2_ brew tea – set aside to cool

_ dissolve sugar in remaining 3cups water [heat slightly in saucepan]

_ cool

_ place raspberries into a muslin cloth – squeeze out all the liquid you can [easier if you smash them fist]

_ discard the wee pips

_ combine tea, raspberry juice, sugar syrup and lime juice in a large jug

_ mix well

_ serve on ice with some mint leaves
