Lovely! The farmers market is finally being flooded with fresh herbs and juicy tomatoes again. This just asked for some flavourful Italian dish. Served with some freshly baked white bread this makes for a great snack in the sun. Best eaten still warm, right out of the pan!


  • 1 block (200g) feta cheese
  • 125g cherry tomatoes
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 2 springs rosemary
  • 2 springs thyme
  • salt
  • pepper
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • olive oil

_ preheat oven to 200°C

_ drizzle a little olive oil in an oven proof dish

_ place the feta in the center

_ halve or quarter the cherry tomatoes and place around the cheese

_ roughly chop garlic and sprinkle over the cheese and tomatoes

_ drizzle with oil and honey

_ sprinkle with salt and pepper

_ top off with the herbs

_ place in the oven and bake for about 30 minutes

_ serve hot with Italian bread or salad
