MÜSLI CARROT BREAD

  • 500g wheat flour
  • 300ml lukewarm water
  • 1 package dry yeast
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon bread spice
  • 100g carrots
  • 1 cup musli
  • 2 tablespoons walnuts
  • 150g yoghurt
  • 2 tablespoons linseeds

_ wash and grate carrots

_ chop walnuts

_ remove yoghurt from the fridge [so it’s not super cold when you add it]

_ butter and flour a loaf pan

_ combine flour, yeast, sugar, salt, bread spice, walnuts and linseeds

_ add lukewarm water and stir

_ finally knead in musli, yoghurt and carrots [add more flour or water if needed]

[dough should be stretchy – not sticky]

_ place dough into your loaf pan [slightly pressing into shape]

_ leave to rise in a warm place [for about 45 minutes]

_ preheat oven to 200°C

_ brush dough with a little water and place in the oven

_ bake for about 50 minutes

_ leave to cool down
