This is a lovely recipe dear friends of ours introduced us to. The smokey and spicy Chipotle goes great with the sweetness of the apricot jam. On cream cheese it makes for a great starter or snack in-between. A bit on the spicy edge for Austrians I seem to have made my Australien and South American colleagues rather happy ;) With good reason they always complain that Austrians can’t do spicy!
MEXICAN CHIPOTLE APRICOT CRACKERS – PEEDA STYLE
_ mix Chipotles Adabados with apricot jam 1:1
_ blend with an electric blender until you get a smooth paste
_ spread cream cheese generously on the crackers
_ top of with a small spoon full of the chipotle-apricot cream [amount depending on how spicy you like it]
