DANDELION LIQUEUR
100 g dandelion blossoms
[without green parts]
700 ml Korn
[or some other flavourless liqueur]
1 organic lemon
150 g white rock sugar
125 ml water
_ pick dandelions on a sunny day
_ pluck the yellow petals from the flowers
[the green leaves would make the liqueur bitter]
_ mix dandelion petals with water and rock sugar in a sealable jar and let stand overnight
_ wash lemon hot, peel zest thinly and squeeze out juice
_ add lemon juice and zest to dandelion and pour Korn over it
_ close the jar and leave to infuse in a dark place for about 4-6 weeks
_ strain the liqueur through a fine sieve or coffee filter
_ pour into sterile jars and leave to infuse for another two weeks

1 Bio-Zitrone
150 g weißer Kandiszucker
125 ml Wasser
