Planning a romantic dinner with your loved one? Or a happy lunch for your kids? Use this super nice and easy trick to pimp any meal. Works well with bigger cookie cutters too. Can be baked in the oven as well as fried in a pan.
You can also give other shapes a try. Just mind that pointy ends [like from a star] tend to burn before the rest is tender.
_ peel potatoes and cut into 5mm thick slices
_ use a cookie cutter to cut out desired shapes
_ drizzle potatoes with olive oil and season with salt, pepper and desired herbs or spices
_ roast in the oven at 200°C [toss every 10 min or so]
_ roast until golden and soft all the way through [time in the oven depends on the size of your potato pieces]
