Spring is Salzburg is like a three year old with a light switch. Bikini weather one day, snow the next. In-between heavy winds and pouring rain. My body is totally weirded out. One day I treat myself to a fresh spring salad full of herbs – next I’m craving cinnamon Christmal cookies.
In case spring actually arrived for good at wherever you are give this recipe a try. Fairly quick and easy to make the Feta pimps up any crunchy greens!
FETA IN SESAME CRUST ON SPRING SALAD
_ cut Feta into 4 equal pieces [if you prefer you can also make 8 cubes]
_ mix flour with spices
_ slightly whisk egg and milk together
_ dust Feta sticks with flour from all sides
_ dip them in egg
_ repeat once and finally coat it with sesame
_ heat oil in a pan
_ fry Feta until golden in color [keep turning so all sides are equally golden]
_ prepare salad in two serving dishes
_ whisk together oil, vinegar, honey and salt
_ drizzle over the salad
_ place Feta in the center and drizzle with honey
