Whenever I make tapas this seems to be everybody’s favorite. So simple but obviously does the trick. The only thing really important here is to check the dates for unwanted inhabitants. And don’t go cheap on the ham – get some good parma ham [or something you really like]. It sure makes the difference!
DATES WITH HAM
_ take out the pits from the dates
_ curl up ham around dates
_ fry in a pan without oil
[only fry until the ham has a bit of a crisp – otherwise it will get too hard]
