Creamed honey, also called whipped honey, spun honey, or churned honey is probably the easiest recipe ever – and one of the greatest!  You can make this recipe with any honey you like. Try a few combinations between flower, wood or chestnut honey! For extra deliciousness use as bread spread and sprinkle with cinnamon!!!

I used ‘home made’ honey! Yes, I have probably seen at least on of the 3000 bees who carried home a teeny-weeny bit of this. For years my parents had a couple of beehives and produced honey – best honey ever of course! Caring for bees is not a hobby but hard work all year round. Nowadays they have only one wild beehive they pamper.

_ mix liquid and crystallized honey 1:1

_ whip with a mixer for about 20 minutes on low/medium speed [lucky you if you have a stand mixer] 

You might not see a lot of difference between 10 and 20 minutes – but the mixture gets more stable and it’s less likely that it will separate later.

_ mix until mixture gets very creamy and almost white [all crystals should disappear]

Store in a jar at room temperature.
