CLAFOUTIS WITH FRESH FRUIT

Clafoutis make for light desserts everybody will like. Personally I prefer them hot – right out of the oven! Go and give it a try!

CLAFOUTIS WITH FRESH FRUIT

  • 150g curd cheese
  • 3 eggs
  • 80g sugar
  • 60g flour
  • 100ml milk
  • 200g fruit

_ butter 8 to 10 small oven proof cups [or a muffin tray]

_ wash fruit and cut into small pieces if necessary

_ preheat oven to 180°C

_ mix egg yolks with half the sugar until foamy

_ add curd cheese, flour and milk

_ beat egg whites with the rest of the sugar until stiff

_ carefully combine with rest of the batter 

_ add fruit

_ distribute throughout the prepared cupsfox_clafouti_fruit

_ bake for 20min

_ dust with powdered sugar

_ serve with vanilla icefox_clafouti_fruit3
