There is nothing like fresh, warm bread. And when it comes to my family and friends garlic is always a good choice. I just love the idea of pull apart breads. I like to make differently sized balls so everybody can pluck out a piece of their liking. This recipe is easy to adapt to your liking. Just change the spices or the cheese.
CHEESY GARLIC PULL-APART BREAD
_ dissolve yeast in water
_ mix flour, water and sugar in a bowl
_ once water is well mixed in add 3 tablespoons olive oil and salt
_ knead until you have a soft dough
_ form into a ball, cover with olive oil and place into a bowl
_ cover with plastic foil and keep in a warm place [for about 2 hours]
_ cut garlic and mix with olive oil, thyme and a pinch salt
_ once dough is risen form walnut sized balls
_ dice mozzarella and enclose a small dice into each ball
_ cover them with the olive oil mixture
_ place in an oven proof pan
_ cover with a kitchen towel and let rise for another 20-30min
_ preheat oven to 200°C
_ sprinkle dough with parmesan
_ bake for 20-30min until cheese is golden
