BOTTOMLESS CHEESE CAKE WITH FRUIT

This is an fast and easy to make cheese cake. The recipe asks for very little sugar. If you don’t use canned fruit or like it a little sweeter add some more sugar to the party. 

BOTTOMLESS CHEESE CAKE WITH FRUIT

  • 500g quark [low fat – dry]
  • 300g yoghurt
  • 200g cream cheese
  • 100g semolina
  • 1 package vanilla pudding powder
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 70g sugar
  • 200g fruit
  • 1 lemon [juice + zest]

fox_cheese_cake3_ preheat oven to 160°C

_ grease an oven proof pan

_ cut fruit into medium pieces 

_ beat egg whites with a pinch salt into soft peaks

_ combine all remaining ingredients [but the fruit]

_ whisk well

_ add fruitfox_cheese_cake2

_ carefully fold in the egg white

_ bake for 35-40min

_ turn off the heat  

_ keep the cake in the oven until it cools down to room temperature [otherwise it will fall in on itself]
