BERRY RED WINE SANGRIA

April 23, 2014

There are probably a million sangria recipes out there. And there is actually not a lot you can do wrong when it comes to making sangria. A cheap bottle of not to sour wine [red or white], water [or juice], fruit and something to make it sweeter. I like to use honey instead of sugar and juice instead of water.

When you are using orange or lemon slices make sure to get rid of the peel. It always gives it a bitter taste you don’t want. A nice way to keep you sangria cool is to freeze some of the fruit.  If you like it bubbly add some mineral water just before serving.

BERRY RED WINE SANGRIA

  • 1 bottle red wine
  • 1 cup pomegranate juice
  • 1 cup orange juice
  • strawberries
  • raspberries
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 0.75 cups red seedless grapes
