Home made ice cream is the best. And who needs a fancy ice cream maker. Frozen fruit and so sugar – creamy and super yummy. Just make sure to buy ripe bananas – bananas should be yellow with lots and lots of brown spots :) – that will be all the sweetness you need!
I freeze the bananas in our fridge-freezer combination. The freezer has only -2 to -3 °C and therefore the bananas don’t go rock hard. If your freezer is way colder you might wanna defrost them slightly before blending.
BANANA PUMPKIN PIE ICE CREAM
_ cut bananas into chunks and freeze
_ place all ingredients into a bowl
_ puree with a hand blender
_ blend until all smooth
_ enjoy immediately or freeze in an air tight container
_ top with crunchy nuts or sprinkle with pumpkin spice mix
